Camelot Cottons is headquartered in the beautiful city of Montreal, Canada. While Camelot is a relative newcomer to the quilting industry, its parent company, Eugene Textiles is not a newbie in the fabric trade. Eugene is a 50 plus year old company catering to the garment side of the fabric industry.

The Camelot design philosophy is to bring the freshest and most creative designs to the quilt shops. There is a new generation of quilters out there and they are looking for a modern approach to design, such as deeper color palettes and a bold expression. The modern quilter enjoys trying new techniques and experimenting with her fabrics and color choices. She (or he, as the case may be!) is not only using quilting fabrics for quilts but also for wearable art and home dec. The Camelot Cotton fabric collections bring those choices to today’s quilter.

Much of our artwork is hand painted and we strive to keep the look of the original art. We want the quilter to be able to see the brush strokes and feel that they are working with a piece of original art. One of the best examples of this is in our Fingerpaints Collection by Stephanie Brandenburg.

Our fabrics are 100% cotton and sold to independent fabric shops only. We value and support our clients by offering shopping 24/7 via this website, exhibiting at trades shows and offering free quilt patterns to help jump start shop sales. Camelot also advertises heavily in popular magazines and often has its fabric used in magazine projects.
